I just want to take a minute to tell you how inspiring you all are to me. I love to watch you develop as athletes of course, but what brings me the greatest joy is watching you develop as a community. The friendships, the support, and the camaraderie, that you all have built is what makes VCF, hands down, the best affiliate in the world. Thank you all so much for bringing so much fulfillment and happiness into my life.
I also want to take a minute to congratulate you guys! VCF athletes were pretty busy this weekend!!!
To all the Savage Race competitors, I’m so very proud of you and your efforts this weekend! My only regret is that I couldn’t be in multiple places at once! Congrats to Craig, Sarah, Val, Jeff, John, Travis, Scott, Richard, and Wes!
To our two teams at Battle of the Ages, we were the least represented team in the house but we still brought home some hardware! Congrats to Casey, Schyler, Gabi, and Bridget!
I also want to thank Sarah Collinsworth for representing us at the “Rooted in Love and Shared Strength” benefit concert on Saturday. You guys remember the Lift for Lisa event we held for Aaron Spoores’ wife Lisa? Well if you hadn’t heard she has been CANCER FREE for a couple months now and is doing great!!!
Early congrats to the folks taking on the challenge of the Granite Games! This one just started and you can still get involved! So far we have Pete, Schy, Bridg, Elly, Scott, Jason, and possibly more that I don’t know about.
Big thank you in advance to Elly, Yoly, Big Vern, Val, Kara, Kayla, & Vickie, who will be hosting about 40 foster kids from CHOICES at the gym this Thursday!
Anyway, I just wanted to take a minute and recognize your collective AWESOMENESS and BADASSERY!
